When Auntie Lillie dies, the Phonies move into Auntie Lillie's house in 45 Stella Street. The Phonies, who are mean and nasty, send letters to the kind family in 47 Stella Street, complaining about their dog. Henni researches about money and, with Danielle, Frank, Zev and herself, chase the Phonies in the airport. She writes a journal, recording everything that happened.
Hey Mia, did you enjoy this book? I really enjoyed this book when I was younger and liked the presentation. I like how it seems that the child is actually writing entries due to the messy handwriting.
ReplyDeleteHi Con. I like the messy handwriting too, especially how there is so much of it scribbled on the front cover and how it seems to be addressing the reader when it says 'What will I call it?'. It seems to be written in a childish way.
